August 2025
Few people visit the remote and impressive Cordillera Darwin in Southern Patagonia. It is one of the last untouched wildernesses of the planet and features impressive ice covered mountains, deep and narrow fjords, giant glaciers and wind beaten forests.
During 2025 I had the chance to travel twice to this region, once entering with a small boat the northern fjords (blue line) and getting deep into the mountains and a second time (green line) in the southern winter, exploring the area from the south side through the Beagle Channel.
Photos from both trips are in the new Gallery of Cordillera Darwin.
